If you would like to start an e-business you'll need a shopping cart. Luckily there are free open-source options. I've used Zencart and osCommerce in the past. Once installed, it's a great application that allows the user to add items and options without needing to know any html or web programming. You will need to set up a merchant bank account to accept credit cards, or if you don't want to do that there are other options such as using Paypal.
